From our humble beginnings broadcasting from a caravan, we have grown to become the area's leading local radio station and our region's only community radio station.

During the day we play a selection of hits and classics from the 60's, 70's and 80's right through to today’s best songs. And what would community radio be without the diverse selection of specialist music programs that we broadcast of an evening? From blues to jazz to rock – we’ll take you there!

Our studios are based in Salamander Bay and we’re on-air 24/7 with a strong signal extending across all of Port Stephens; from Karuah and Hawkes Nest in the north, across to Maitland in the west and to Lake Macquarie in the south. We also stream our broadcast live 24/7 from our website, so you can take PSFM with you, wherever you go in the world.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, run by a team of over thirty dedicated volunteers and overseen by our experienced Committee of Management.
