Welcome to the Official Port Stephens FM website.  Our studio is located at Salamander Bay in the Port Stephens area of New South Wales - part of the Hunter Valley and close to beaches and wineries.

Here's a little about us...

Founded in 1992, Port Stephens FM is one of 380 community radio station in Australia (the only one in the Port Stephens Area).
We officially broadcast to all areas of the Port Stephens Local Government Area.
The station is run entirely by volunteers from the community.  There are currently around 40 presenters, in addition to administrative staff.

The station's key ingredient is its 24 hour music mix across all genres.  The emphasis is on easy listening, with the theme zone after 6pm providing a variety of music sure to please all tastes, from classical to jazz and world music.

We have always worked hard to ensure we deliver the music and information our listeners want to hear.  With a focus on easy listening music and strong links to the community, our station is intent on not only meeting, but surpassing audience expectations.
