Our Reach Port Stephens FM is based in Salamander Bay and broadcasts throughout the Port Stephens region, in to Newcastle and its suburbs, west of Raymond Terrace through to Maitland and north beyond Karuah - 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Keeping You In Touch With Your World National news and local weather updates are broadcast hourly from 6am - 6pm weekdays and from 7am - 6pm on weekends. State news updates are broadcast half-hourly during our weekday breakfast programs. President of the Community Broadcasting Authority of Australia (CBAA), Deb Welch, said the results were a testament to the high standard of community radio in Australia and the important role it played in the Australia media landscape.
